How do I care for my rope and leather products to keep them looking good for a long time?

Here are the instructions that will guarantee the longevity of your two-material products (vegan leather* and rope).

Hand washing recommended :

• Use lukewarm (not hot) water with a mild soap
• Gently rub the nylon with a soft brush or sponge to remove ingrained dirt.
  
• Wipe the leather part of the apples with a soft cloth
  
• Dry the metal parts immediately and thoroughly after cleaning.
• Hang the leash in the open air, away from direct sunlight (which can slightly discolor it).

Absolutely avoid

• Do not machine wash
  Bleach or chlorine-based products : they weaken nylon fibers
• Direct sunlight drying : causes discoloration and weakens the nylon
• No tumble dryer
• Do not iron : the nylon may melt.
• Do not dry clean : chemical solvents degrade the nylon and the plating
